Yoga has been a part of my life for over 33 years, I started teaching adults yoga in 2006 both in Australia and extensively throughout London, Europe and America.
Now I also specialize in kids yoga and pregnancy yoga, having trained with Gopala Yaffa from Rainbow Kids Yoga , and more recently having completed the highest training available for pre and post natal yoga with Ana Davis from Bliss Baby Yoga at the Byron Yoga Centre.
Yoga is about getting the most out of your body, mind and soul. It's creates strength, flexibility, cardiovascular health and relaxes the overstimulated nervous system all at the same time.
I will guide you through a series of movements, gently inspiring you to stretch, strengthen and align your body in just the right way, all whilst balancing your thoughts and emotions so you experience inner harmony.
Yoga is about feeling great both physically and emotionally. Treat yourself! You deserve it.
A little bit of self-care goes such a long way in our ability to be able to show up for ourselves and others.

Crystal Kids Yoga @ Alyssium is a balance between spontaneity and structure, children participating in the classes learn to listen to themselves and each other while being able to express themselves creatively. The incorporation of stories, songs, games and poses creates a multi-sensory environment, where children develop through kinaesthetic, visual, and aural learning all whilst having fun! Children are encouraged to respect and pay attention to their bodies, making sure each pose feels good. There is no other form of exercise that offers such a wide range of movements.
It exercises the mind and strengthens the breath. It involves interaction and develops an awareness of ourselves, our friends and the world around us.

Yoga throughout my pregnancy was my solace & my guiding light, preparing my body physically, emotionally and spiritually for the exciting journey ahead. This is what I wish to share with other mums to be; just how natural, wonderful and empowering birthing your baby can be, even if you are considered to be high risk like I was.
It is the greatest gift for me to be able to help and support parents on the journey of pregnancy, birth and beyond. Here at Alyssium Foundation we not only aim to provide you with all the information you need to make empowered decisions but we also want to offer a space to share and process this important time of your life.
The prenatal yoga has taken labour support to a new dimension. It gives mum the opportunity to bond and connect with her baby pre-labour, to access the babies and her own highest wisdom. Prenatal yoga sessions deepen your level of understanding for yourself and help to develop confidence in your body and to the process of birth; this will lead to empowerment, personal growth and a sense of loving acceptance for oneself.
Pre-natal Private Sessions: Your 2 hour pre-natal private session will guide you through a safe, informative and effective practice where we can address your concerns safely with correct technique so that your practice, rather than aggravate, will be like therapy to your changing body. You will strengthen, relax and release in all the right places as your body rapidly changes in preparation for birth. You will also explore breathing exercises and meditations to help prepare you for your birth day with a calm confidence. We will also importantly cover what to avoid in this session.
Post-natal Private Sessions: Your 2 hour post-natal private session will focus on safely and effectively restoring your body to it's pre baby form.
With a big emphasis on safely strengthening the pelvic floor and the core muscles, and if need be assisting in the repair of a torn rectus abdominal muscle.
Ideas on poses you can do with your baby will be covered so that you can be more versatile and fluid with your practice, it doesn't always have to be done while they're asleep.
